SUNY Oneonta User Account Maintenance

Options for Account Maintenance:

  1. First open the user account maintenance webpage to: https://www.oneonta.edu/useraccount
  2. Select which option applies:
    1. Activate User Account (if you've never logged in before)

      This image displays the menu to activate a user account. Enter the username, password, and birth date in order to activate the account.

       
    2. Change Account Password (If you know your password or received a temporary password)

      This image displays the menu to change an account password. Enter the old password and new password, in order to complete the process.


       
    3. Reset Account Password (If you've forgotten your password)

      This image displays the menu to reset ab account password. Enter the username or email. Type the letters/numbers in the image box to confirm the user, and then select next to complete the process.

       
    4. Update Account Recovery Options (In case you ever forget your password)

          This image displays the menu to update the account recovery options. Click on the "+" to add a sign-in method and update the recovery options.

 

Admitted Undergraduate/Graduate Student (Domestic and International)

  • All applicants that have received a notice of acceptance. This acceptance communication that applicants recieve includes the necessary credentials for logging in and activating the user account.

  • If you have questions, please contact the Office of Admissions at 800-SUNY-123.

 

New Employee (Faculty or Staff)

  • All SUNY Oneonta Employee from all bargaining units will receive an Account Activation Email sent to the personal email address on file. This contains relevant information required to activate the new or reactivated SUNY Oneonta account.
