Access to WiFi is available to anyone with SUNY Oneonta credentials. All buildings and many outdoor locations on campus have WiFi coverage.
eduroam – is the encrypted network for computers, tablets and mobile devices. It does not require network registration, and students and employees can connect by authenticating with their SUNY Oneonta username and password.
Red Dragon WiFi – is for game systems and consumer devices (smart TVs, printers, streaming devices, etc.) since they don’t support the encryption protocols on eduroam. Devices must be registered and have random MAC addresses disabled to connect to this network. Guests and visitors who are not from eduroam institutions should also use this network.
