Through this form, faculty can request a course sandbox for developing an online course before it is offered, and in advance of when the semester-based courses are available. Faculty can also ask for the SUNY Oneonta Course Structure Template to be included in the sandbox at the time of its creation.
The SUNY Oneonta Course Structure Template is the beginning of an organized and consistent course structure, aligned with the OSCQR standards for quality and accessibility, that can be added to your sandbox to give you a head start in the course development process.
It consists of a Start Here module with practice activities for students, a Course Syllabus and Information module that includes the OSCQR aligned SUNY Oneonta syllabus template, a course schedule outline, and a list of student support resources. Additionally, there is a module with place holders for building your first content-specific module. These documents and folders are content-neutral and can be customized with your course-specific materials and information.
