Review Process:
Requests for new door access should include detailed information about the location, purpose, and security requirements. Incomplete requests will be sent back to the requestor for completion.
Initial Review: The Card Access Working Group will conduct an initial review to ensure the request meets the basic criteria outlined above.
Site Assessment: A physical assessment of the site will be conducted to evaluate the feasibility of the request and identify any potential challenges.
Budget: The request cost will be estimated by the CAWG, considering both initial installation costs and ongoing maintenance expenses.
Integration Check: The Card Access Service Technicians will confirm that the new door access system can integrate with existing security infrastructure and systems.
Final Approval: The compiled information will be reviewed for final approval.
Implementation: Once approved, the new device(s) will be installed and tested to ensure they meet all security and operational requirements.
